a full week after my first remicade treatment, i suddenly developed a very severe headache, followed by a stiff neck, a stiff left arm, a sore jaw where i couldn't open my mouth very far and i could not chew, then developed a fever, chills and itching. It came on fast but also subsided a good bit within about 12 hours. has anyone else experienced something like this, a full week after a treatment?

My name is Ana, I am 27 yrs old with Rheumatoid Arthritis. During my 6th treatment of Remicade I couldn't breath, but I got better after the nurse stopped the infussion and later started it very slowly. During my 7th treatment I also couldn't breath, got cramps and my hands were soaking wet. After Oxygen & Benadryl I felt alot better, I got home at about 5pm from the hospital and at 7pm; I couldn't bare the muscle pain. I had an MRI schedule the next day and had to have someone drive me because I had a SEVERE headache and cramps. I had to drag my feet in order to move around, because I felt as if every step that I took was going to kill me. That day when I got weighed the nurse told me I lost 6 lbs, since they saw me last and it had only been 7 weeks. I now feel a slight headache and I do get hungry, but I can't seem to eat and I wake up with an upset stomach in the mornings. Has anyone else experienced this? Can someone please tell me if this is common. Please e-mail me at shy_peppy@yahoo.com if you like with any response to this
