My whole life I have lived with a huge dent in my left butt cheek when i asked my mother what happened to me she told me that I was born with it
since i was born with pneumonia it makes sense that I may have received a kenalog shot as a newborn, I am 37 now and just had plastic surgery and the doctor administered 100cc of fat (fat transfer) and was still not able to fill in the dimple cause it was too deep. now I have to pay for the procedure again in order for him to complete filling the dimple ($3000.00), I hope he plans on giving me a discount but my butt feels fuller and the dimple is only on the surface now, and much less noticeable than before.

I had a Kenolog injection in Nov. 2006, for pneumonia. I got better and thought all was fine. After a 2 months i noticed a strange indention on my upper left buttcheek. at that time it was about the size of a quarter. Also at that time, never having heard of any side effects i was stressing Big Time about why I had this "hole" in my cheek. After going to a different doctor and having a sonogram and a bunch of people looking at my behind with No answers. I finally found a Kenolg complaint web site after google-ing indentation in buttcheek. I was shocked as i finally put 2 & 2 together! Now It's Sept. 2007 I still not only have a "hole" in my cheek, it has gotten much bigger, about the size of my fist!!! It's hideous! It also aches. I use to run now that hurts my glute. The doctor has been no help. I keep hoping it gets better, but so far only worse. Does it get better and heal up?? Is anyone currently involved in any lawsuits regarding this situation?
any info would be much appreciated.

My Daughter took Kenalog in 2007 after battling pneumonia. It seemed like a miracle because she actually felt better. Now, we are learning about all the side effects and her lengthy periods...the indention STILL being there...it definitely sounds like it could be related. I'm going to do more research, something has to be done. We trusted her pediatrician...I would never have done this to my child.
