Guaifen-C and one pill

I had no real problems at all. I felt a little funny the first time I took it (SLIGHTLY nauseated and dizzy), but I ate some food and drank some water and felt much better. I took it for about 4 days and it completely cleared my sinuses - the stuff coming out of my nose went from yellow to clear. I definitely avoided an infection. I would suggest only taking one pill in the morning - that prevents the sleeplessness. I also made sure I drank more water than usual. The bottom line is that it worked wonders, and there are side effects to ALL drugs. Sudafed would keep me up at night - that's why I stop taking it a few hours before going to bed.

Thank goodness I looked this website up when I did. I had taken only one pill in the morning (was prescribed 2x daily along w/an antibiotic for ear/sinus infection) and was so nauseous that I barely ate all day. My congestion wasn't too bad so I didn't take another. My heart was also beating abnormally and I'm sure the only reason I could go to sleep at 2am was that I only took 1 pill in the morning. At first I thought these symptoms were caused by the antibiotic until I read everyone's reviews. I am throwing this in the trash.

I took one pill last night..have not slept one minute all night long..have drank about a gallon of water and still have cotton mouth..feel like I drank a quart of tequila and ate a box of salt...dizzy...headache...nervous feeling..wish I had got online and found this sight before last night..I'm out of town for an important meeting that last all day..and have to go to a dinner tonight. They should outlaw this crap...am telling my boss to look at this sight in case I go to sleep in meeting today.. I am not in a good mood...

I took one pill and coughed my head off the rest of the evening--worse than the day before I took the pill!! That night I went to sleep okay, but woke up once, took me an hour to get back to sleep. Woke up again, took another 1/2 hour to get back to sleep. After reading these postings--forget this pill--I'll do without. I'd like to lose weight with it, sure, but I'm sick to death of coughing. I've hardly coughed today--why take a stupid pill that's going to make me cough worse? Hacks me off I paid $$ for the pills, though.
