Verapamil raised my BP

Posted at 4:42 AM on Aug 19, 2008 by she, #7194
I quit beta blockers because I starting getting allergy shots, Dr. put me on lisinopril. I thought I had a bad cold so did not do anything when I developed a cough that made me cough till tears and often I would throw up. 4 months later I found out it was the medication. So I stopped taking it. My BP went down to a very comfortable average. Problem my headaches came back. So Dr. gave me verapamil. So far my BP has jumped up a lot, pulse rate high 90's, the tickle of that cough is in my throat but not like it was before. It's only been a week, but I'm really thinking I need to quit. Quit or keep taking? Thanks, She
