Obgyn symptoms and conditions

I just posted and forgot to add regarding the kidneys/adrenal glands. I asked an OBGYN (not reg doc - won't go back to her again) about this med and she said it was pretty much benign to the body. She stated though that if I did want to become pregnant to be sure to get off first. I was curious then and asked exactly what Lisinopril does to a fetus. She stated - pretty much the kidneys don't develop at all during pregnancy. I then retorted - "that only makes me wonder what this med is doing to MY kidneys now!" She just smugly had nothing to say. You cannot tell me that this is not hurting people. I am going to lose weight now and get off all meds. I only take this and I know with diet/weight loss and exercise it's possible for me. Besides sometimes when I check my BP it's high still and other times, like the day of surgery, it was lower than normal.

I am 63 years old and hadn't had a period in 10 years. I got a shot of Kenalog in my neck for inflamed muscle December 2 2008.On December
20th I started spotting, then got slightly heavier. It stopped a week later. I saw a OBGYN and he has done a pap smear and a biopsy. Haven't heard from those test, but I have a ultrasound of the pelvis ordered.
Any way I have started spotting again.
I also take Plavix so it can also be a cause according to my doctor.
This may be premature to write you this but I was looking for other causes and found your site. I have really been worried that there is much more going on. Will try to post the result of my test to let you know if it could be because of the Kenalog.

I am 18 years old and have been on Loestrin 24 fe for over a year to regulate periods. I had not done much research before taking this and I wish I would've. At first everything was well besides the weight gain. My periods were short and I had no cramps. After a few months of being on this bc i was extremely moody and depressed. I was never like this before. I now find myself to be tired and exhausted even after a good nights rest. When I get to the brown pills in the end of the pack I get some type of period but not enough to call a flow or even to need a tampon. This is simply not the right bc for me. I'm glad i came across this site to see a lot of other people are experiencing the same side effects. I will be getting off of this nightmare in a pack just as soon as I get to an obgyn. Do the research before you start taking any type of bc.

I was on the Yasmin pill for 5 months and suffered severe health problems for 3 years. It almost took my life. I actually heard popping sounds in my head when I first went off of it and on it. My symptoms were digestive, head aches, numb limbs, weakness, tired, severe menstrual bleeding, clots, depression, instability, low immune system, heart palpitation etc. In short I was very sick all of a sudden for no other reason than taking this pill If this has happened to you I advise the following which saved me. You need to do the following. Find a doctor that will take you seriously and understand that your problems started with this pill. My OBGYN resisted it for a long time until I was so sick it scared her. Seek an endocrinologist and neurologist if needed. Make sure your blood work checks the following: Any issues with blood clotting including protein c antigen. Mine was low which left me at risk of a blood clot after this pill. Also the pill can lower and this one more than others your b12 levels in your blood which is very dangerous. Research b12 deficiency and see it the pill did this to you. B12 levels should be no lower than 500. Also have your vitamin D levels checked in your blood. This pill depletes b12, vitamin D, causes clotting, affects the liver and so on. It took me 3 years to fully heal. Once I was on b12 shots, Vitamin D daily and had other blood deficiencies corrected after being on this pill I began to get better, but that took 3 years and I was so sick at one point I could hardly do anything and my heart so affected I almost had a heart attack. My blood pressure was uncontrollable. I am currently involved in a class action suit. You can be a part of it too. Good luck with your health first. I can say I am finally on my way back to health fully. Some have not been so lucky after taking this pill, but it took me personally 3 years to get back to the healthy woman I was before this pill. In the process I also lost a pregnancy due to the severe health problems. Don't lelt anyone tell you it is not this pill. If you know it is, no one knows your body better than you!

Ive been on Yasmin for just over 2 years now. I have had the most terrible panic attacks ever. I was never aware that something like this existed...and have only just put the connection together. I have had mecury fillings out of my teeth, gone to see a psychologist, taken anti depressants, gone to a hypnotist etc and still they continue. I am definitely going to change to something else. The reason for going onto this product was due to migraines but quite honestly i would rather live with that then a week full time panic attacks....

Too Everyone on this devil drug get the hell off it..My wife is Dead because if it.. Its happened so quick.We are from arizona(mesa) It pretty much happend in one day.I was at work My mother in law took sandra too go see a (her doctor) she was really white out of breath weak and coudnt breath ..Rite away they told her to go straight to the emergency room.They thought she was bleeding inside.They took care of her rite away. They started to take alot of test cool everything came back awesome. Then they said we are going to run a Kat scan.Bam that was it.Came back to us said she had Pulmonary Embolism .They said they can treat it.Never said you can past from it.So they took her to her own room in the hospital ..Started treating her for the blood clots in her lungs ..Everything was looking good getting color back and thinking positive.You know were like cool 3 4 days in the hospital eat good food alittle vacation dont have to take care of our son Nick 12 years old .Her mother was with us up until 1120 pm she was tired and told sandra that she was tired no problem go get some sleep and I will take care of her.She was resting pretty good then around 1220 pm about a hour later BAM stood up Cant breath and she was at white as ghost.She was suffering I could tell I called a nurse.THat when it happend so quickly They gave her oxygen nothing couldnt breath its was like she was having A CARDIAC ARREST her body couldnt function she was really tiny(her Nickname was peanut) 130 pounds then one doctor came then another like it was ER the show.I couldnt do a dam thing .Then the took me out of the room I knew something was up that was the last time I saw her alive suffering.I was sitting in a chair about 4 rooms over.Lights going off over the door.There was about 10 people in her room.Lights going off red white red.THen I heard them say Go GET A SOCIAL WORKER.I knew in my heart she was gone.They tried to give her CPR for about 20 min nothing.Then they said they want to call any family .They called her mom and Dad.and said they are going to try 10 min of cpr nothing they came out of the room and told me she died.Wow 35 years old both of us .Then her parents showed up and I had too tell them their daughter died all in one day..So know we know it was from yaz..All the signs losing hair cant breath always nervous lots of head aches .Every thing was their signs .Just because of that stupid pill.. I haven't yet started Yasmin but I was taking Yaz for a few months and have had my OBGYN switch me to the lower dose of hormone, Yasmin, because I was literally having my period every 2 weeks! And this wasn't just spotting-this was a full blown period! My skin had remained fairly clear and I don't get nearly as many breakouts as I used to. However, I am on an antibiotic and wash my face with benzoyl peroxide and use a cream so that could be why my skin is clearing up but I think Yaz contributed. I noticed with Yaz that I wasn't nearly as emotional and crazy as when I took Ortho Tri Cyclen low. But once I started getting a heavy cycle (cramps included) with Yaz, I switched to Yasmin so we'll see how that goes. I noticed on Yaz I still got cramps but they weren't unbearable and usually only lasted the first day of my period. I also tend to get mild yeast infections that I attribute to birth control but no headaches like others were getting and my sex drive has increased or decreased-it's about the same. Yasmin is about $10.00 cheaper on my insurance than Yaz so that's another plus. I can't say much about Yasmin right now but I know Yaz caused bi-weekly periods and I definitely wanted to eat everything in sight so, because I was eating and had low energy and did not want to work out, I obviously gained a few lbs but nothing too obvious. Maybe like 2 or 3lbs. Mostly there is bloating in my stomach. My breasts arent tender though like others get and I didn't have stomach pains or constipation with Yaz. Compared to Ortho Tri Cyclen lo, Yaz was a miracle pill. If not for the bi-weekly periods due to the high levels of hormes, I wouldn't have switched to Yasmin.

My OBGYN put me on this pill to regulate my period. I have had prolonged period lasting 2 to 2 1/2 weeks in the last four months which caused me to be anemic. I am 32 and this is the first time i have used a bc pills. I am on my first trial pack and on my second week of using the pills. So far, no extreme side effects for me. The only thing that concerned me is that I am experiencing breakthrough bleeding, which from reading some of the posts here, is quite normal. 2 days after taking the pill, my period did stop. Then on the 3rd or 4th day, I had light spotting and now i seem to have a light period. I did feel cramps as well but nothing too painful. What bugged me the most is the gassy, constipation feeling. But other than that, no extreme emotional symptoms. Other than the breakthrough bleeding, I still have to give my bc pills a chance to see if it really is working.

I was using every excuse possible for what I have been experiencing. I started NR in May, now it's December, I was scheduled to take it out. Since I started I noticed acne, which I never had even in my teen years. I blamed it on the towels in the gym, stopped using those, then on the sweat from workout... kept trying new acne treatments, but acne magically disappears during the ring out days. I'm not sure if I can call depression, what I felt, it was like I'm never happy with anything and many days in a month my thoughts were very dark, unhappy. I noticed serious decrease in energy, blaming it on 2 children, but my son was a year old when I started NR and I had more energy before with newborn and a toddler daughter. Again I thought, he's so active... I have hard time getting out of bed, sometimes sleep is ok, sometimes no sleep for hours, but this happens to many people. night sweats I was blaming on the blanket, the thinnest one we have(my husband uses 2 at night), I was waking up many days in a month drenched in sweat. No discharge, yeast infection for me, lower sex drive. Even more interesting- I noticed the smell of my partner to be less attractive... Then I read in a magazine that BC messes up with the smell as well. I had horrible headaches, feeling I'm going to pass out< dizzy< especially if I was trying to rush(blamed it on rushing too much). I was growling(like my daughter said) at the kids with the smallest mischief, it's like a little bomb heating up and bursting in my head, I felt rage, not anger, total rage.Life has lost any appeal for me, this is not living, just suffering, I thought all the time. But here I am at home with two little children, hardly ever see friends, always doing work around the house, laundry. Hot flashes during the day are frequent and I feel like I want to tear my clothes off. Recently I started to have a lot of pressure in my chest, like it's hard to breathe. Just last week I almost went to the ER, because I was laying on the couch unable to speak out loud, just whispering, could not move. Then couple of days ago my heart started to ache, it aches now, so last night I looked up the side effects of NR, because I didn't even know where to start with this condition, that has all these symptoms I have been listing. I was planning to go to the doc for all the test. My stomach has been hurting slightly in the last 3-4 weeks(I thought it was food, but no one in our family had any problems). I am 28year old in great shape(I cut back on my food intake to keep th weight the same), I work out 2 times a week and have a very active lifestyle. My relationship with my husband is great, my children are well behaved for their age, So I'm stopping NR before I get divorced like some other women did. If you want to try NR go ahead, it's really convenient, but be aware of all these side effects, so you know, it's not something else, before it's too late.

I started the Nuvaring December 1, 2008, the first day I got my period to treat ovarian cysts. The first week, I had no side effects. The ring was a little uncomfortable until I learned how to position it properly. It kept trying to come out. Then, 10 days on the ring, I got horrible headaches, very nauseous, and bad stomach pain. I didn't think it was from the nuvaring, but when the symptoms got worse accompanied by anxiety, and depression, I knew it had to be from the nuvaring. I called my obgyn, and he advised me to take it out. I've taken other birth control pills before, and have had similar reactions. My obgyn said that many women's bodies can't tolerate birth control. I hope this was helpful.

I am 24 and extremely active, in the military, and I had been having problems with bleeding on my menstrual cycle for over a year. I was basically on my cycle every day for months at a time and then when i stopped my body would start again if i began to exercise or run anywhere. Life was horrible. My OBGYN put me on Lupron for 6 months and it was amazing to not have pain, not have a cycle and to have freedom to move about. I got off of the shot and my cycles returned to normal about 2 months late but now after 4 months of being off my cycles has now gone back to this constant state. i have joint tenderness in my knees and hand....I don't know if this is a result of Lupron or just being a runner....I'm only 24 so I would think my bones were in pretty good shape....I had hot flashes while taking Lupron but my bleeding is so bad that I almost want to run back in and say but me on the 3 month shots so I don't have to deal with any of this.

Wow this page has helped me so much! I really thought I had lost my mind! I started these pills 2 months ago. I'm not sexually active but have very severe periods due to an ovarian disease. My OBGYN thought birth control would be the best choice. At first everything was great the cramps(which lasted 3 weeks out of the month for me) were gone! my mood did change. I've always been a very happy person and all at once I was this mean crazed person! I couldn't think about anything without feeling mad or angry or just wanting to cry. Then last week I got my first period after taking the pill I was in shock because I didn't even know it was coming. 4 days long I was so happy. I was off my period Wednesday and awoke Thanksgiving morning with the worst pain I've ever felt in my entire life. I went to the ER and they thought it was my gallbladder I've been having tests done all week. Well Sunday I got my period again!!! It's so much more intense then I've ever had in my entire life! It's now day 5 of my second period in 2 weeks and I was talking with my grandmother when she suggested maybe the whole problem was my BC. I read the little info pack the pills come with and was in complete shock. I decided to look up side effects and am so glad I did. I'm calling my doctor first thing tomorrow so maybe finally something can be done. Since I started this pill I've lost my appetite and been tired and bitchy nonstop! But with not eating I've gained weight! It's horrible!! SOMETHING HAS TO BE DONE! Good luck to everyone else whose coming off of the pill or just started it!

I was only on Yasmin for one month. After 2/3 weeks of being on it I started getting really bad migraines. I've had a severe migraine now ever since I got off of it. Does anyone know how long side effects last? Does anyone have this problem too?
I ended up in the hospital twice for the headaches. After the bloodwork, and CAT scan I was discharged, but to this day (I stopped taking the pills during the second week of October) I am still in constant pain. It feels like something is moving in my brain (as weird as that sounds). I am now debating to call a neurologist.
If anyone has any type of help or advise please help me!!

After I got my IUD removed 2 mos ago, my male obgyn showed no empathy so I changed to a female obgyn and saw her yesterday for an annual checkup. I explained to her what had happened and she gave me the same dumb straight face look - "No, I wasn't aware of weight gain or other side effects from Mirena". I bet you she won't get my co-pay again. Back to the drawing board, searching for someone to believe my misery. Is there anyone out there who has a doctor who believes them????????

I am a 27 year old who has been on birth control for the past 11 years. I was on Ortho Tri Cyclen for the majority of that time until my sophomore year of college when the doctor suggested I switch to the "shot". Depo Provera caused me to bleed continuously for several months on end and I was then switched back to pills by my new gynecologist. He placed me on a generic form of the ortho which again worked wonders for several years. At 25, I started bleeding constantly from the generic and was switched to several Loestrin 24 which completely stopped the breakthrough bleeding... initially. After a year of it, we were back to constant bleeding. The ONLY side effect I have ever experienced from birth control is breakthrough bleeding. I moved cities and with a new town came a new doctor who thought Femcon might work. I was prescribed it in May and have been taking it for nearly 6 months. Over that time I have been so happy with it as there is no bleeding except when there should be. That is until I read today that my increased anxiety (I have a diagnosed anxiety disorder to begin with), vivid, realistic nightmares, and 15 lb weight gain could be caused by this pill. I am getting married in January and my dress barely fits at this point because of the weight gain. I go to the gym 5 days a week for cardio and weight training yet keep getting fatter... I thought I was stressed out by the wedding and that is what was causing my emotional imbalance... I really thought I was losing it. I just called my gyno and left a VM asking if this could be the reason... Don't quit taking a birth control based on other peoples reports, they are all going to react differently to different people and all meds come with an initial side effect that goes away once your body is accustomed to having that hormone or chemical in it. Initial nausea is common... I have always had it when I started a new medication, especially birth control. It goes away after a couple of weeks. Will keep you posted.

I am 17 years old. I started taking this pill on October 13th, 2008. I had just finished my cycle and went to the OBGYN to do a check up because my last sexual encounter had left me bruised and hurt. I also wanted to start taking birth control again. She put me on this pill and by the next day I was bleeding again. The blood wasn't heavy, and it was dark and tissue. My mother and I didn't think anything serious of it because I had just gotten off my period so it wasn't weird that old blood would still be flowing from me. The next weekend, I was hanging out with the guy I was seeing and some friends. We went to our friends apartment to watch a movie. The boy and I were sitting outside and he began to ask me questions. I got really paranoid and protective and almost completely shut myself off from everyone. Even though the questions were simple and friendly, they made me moody and depressive. for the rest of the night I was upset. I could tell that the boy was unhappy with my mood change so I tried to be happy. But almost immediately, I began to feel depressed again. My mood was so different that the boy ended up leaving me for another girl because "he realized it would never work out between us."

I bled for the remainder of my first month pack. I had severe mood swings similar to the ones I get right before my period, all month. After I took the four brown pills, my bleeding stopped and I thought that would be the end of the mood swings too. And for a while, it was. I started my second pack. I am currently in the second week. I missed my pill yesterday, and when I woke up this morning, I was bleeding again. I took my Monday and Tuesday pill together and I hope that will stop the bleeding.

I have no way of knowing if the mood swings are from the pill or if I am depressed from the break-up. I haven't had a loss of sex drive (although there is no way for me to really test that considering I haven't tried to have sex since I have been on the pill) but I have had a change in appetite. Because this is my senior year, I am usually able to sleep from 10:00 pm until 7:00 am but lately, my fatigue hasn't change but I have been unable to sleep soundly through the night. This could all be due to my recent relationship mishap but I can't help but feel that I am handling this differently.

The depression comes and goes. For the most part, coping has been easy. I have been a lot more relaxed about the relationship situation than I would normally. But I do get sad. And when I get sad....its unbearable. I considered suicide and almost made an attempt. It was an out-of-body experience unlike any I have ever felt. I don't want to wait for the sadness to come again.

I want to stop taking this pill but the doctor says that by the third month the symptoms should even out. I hope so

I had been on Yasmin for about 2 years and it was great. I had no adverse side effects. My periods where shorter and lighter and I did not have the horrible cramps I had before getting on the pill. I loved it. Then about three months ago the pharmacy switched me to the generic, Ocella, which the pharmacist insisted was exactly the same, but beware it is not! I have gained about 15 pounds, I had to go up a whole bra size because my breasts are so swollen, my breast are tender and ache most of the time, and as of right now I have been bleeding badly for two weeks and I have never bled when it wasn't time for my period. My OBGYN said the generic was most likely the cause. I know the generic is cheaper but do not take it. Yasmin is well worth the extra money. I am getting back on it immediately! A lot of people do blame the pills for stuff that would have happened anyways. So do not be scared to take Yasmin. Everything isn't for everyone but it was good for me. It's done it's main job which is to keep me from getting pregnant and isn' that the reason most of us take birth control for? So put up with a few side effects, at least you don't have a baby to deal with!!!

My OBGYN prescribe this for me for a cysts in my ovary about 3 months ago I didn't take it went to see a acupuncturist/Chinese medicine doctor instead. After 3 months went back to my OBGYN for a ultra sound the cysts did shrink but yet he still wants me to take this pill to clear out fibroids and really get rid of the cysts he says. After reading these experience I know this is not for me my body and I will not be able to handle the depression, mood swings etc. Just drinking coffee makes my mood swing can you imagine what this pill would do, I can. Thank you for sharing your experiences.

Okay WOW! So interestingly enough, I was out w/ a friend last night and when I mentoned to him that I have Mirena-he pleaded with me to google it and find out the troubles that ppl were having. He said He almost lost his wife because of it(and by lost- I mean death) That got my attention. I told him, I thought I didn't have any problems with my Mirena... I don't even have a period ever-its great! I am truly glad he told me to look, and I am glad I read the other problems women were having. I had symptoms, that I didn't even realize I had; basically blaming it on stress or other things. I have Narcolepsy which is a sleeping disorder, and recently I was diagnosed with Fibromaylgia (s/p?) Anyways I have had my Mirena for a lil over a year; I chose it because I absolutely suck at remembering to take the "pill" everyday and I am a single mom, and I told myself I will not be in this position again with another child. (I know- a lot of "ands"...lol) Well Here is my symptoms that I didn't realize could be related. I had a nervous breakdown at Christmas last year.... I called my dad and told him he needed to go get my daughter because I didn't think she was 'safe' with me, I was balling my eyes out... I was so stressed and full of anxiety and the littlest thing would set me off-AND I knew it wasn't my babys fault, I didn't want her anywhere near me! I went to the doctor and got treated for - you guessed it manic depression/anxiety ( I have had a history of it- but NEVER this bad) She came home after a few days. However, I still get easily irritated, more easily then I should- normally I am a very patient person. I sleep all the time....ALL THE TIME, I suffer from eccessive Fatigue, and nothing I take seems to help. weight gain-yep I got that too... I am the heaviest I have ever been in my life! I weigh more now then I did when I was nine months preg. with my daughter. Bloating.... yep I got Bloating, I don't feel comfortable in any of my clothes- I absolutely hate to wear Jeans anymore, and Yes I do suffer the 'gas' problem too. I was completely embarrassed and thought I was all alone on the fear of making it to the bathroom on time... I am a grown woman of 30 (so I am still kinda young to have any problems like that!) Oh yeah...I do have the Hot flashes, people would tease me and tell me I was too young for that-DUH! I want to enjoy my daughter, she will be 4 years old in march, I want energy to do the simple things, to enjoy life again, I want to feel attractive again.... honestly right now I feel kinda hideous.... So I have two major positive I am facing... no pill to take everyday, and no period!!!! If I go have it removed; what will my cycle be like? will I bleed all the time, will it just last a long time at first and then regulate, I guess I would like to have a heads up on what to expect. then there is one more question... If I remove the Mirena and choose a different IUD; will it have the same side effects? I need a B.C. option that doesn't require me taking a pill everyday, and I already tried the depo-shot that was a bad one for me.... that was like one long, on-going period that never stopped(don't want that-lol) So if Anyone out there has any advice, I would greatly appreciate it! I'm a 29 yr old with poly cystic ovarian syndrome. Which means I don't ovulate regularly. I normally have 2 periods a year which is a good thing since I'm not trying to have any children right now so on my annual visit to the OBGYN we decided that since I don't have any periods or not enough that I should maybe start birth control again. I was using the nuvaring about 4 yrs ago with no symptoms what so ever. Now it's only been 3 weeks and I feel as though I've been impregnated. My breast are constantly hurting and feeling enlarged. My sex drive isn't the same any more. I have constant mood swings and I'm not my normal "happy about life" self anymore. And I can't even think about the cramps. Or the over chocolate eating. I don't even like chocolate now my skin is breaking out in the worse way. Not only that but I sleep my life away. I can't even go to a club without getting a nap in first. Oh yea let's not forget the painful intercourse. If he ejaculates inside of me it burns with the ring in or out. It's just very uncomfortable I thought he might have been cheating and it's just another side effect. This is the most horrible experience I've had with using birth control other than the patch but that's for another website. I hate I've already gotten my 2nd one. If I had known I would feel like this I would have saved my 30 bucks. And told him let's take that chance.

I am 29 years old and have SUPER heavy periods so my OBGYN prescribed me the NuvaRing. I have had trouble with pills and the patch making me feel crazy, she said this one would distribute the hormones much more evenly. HA HA HA, well I obviously don't need any more hormones than I already have. I put the ring in about 2 weeks ago and for the last 4 days I have been a raging lunatic. I am the most bubbly girl in the world, except when I'm PMS-ing. But this ring makes me feel like I'm PMS-ing 24/7. I feel irritable, sad, don't wanna get out of bed, i have hot flashes, headaches, wake up dripping from sweat, and now that I think about my sex drive has depleted. I just start crying for no reason, over-analyzing everything my sweet loving boyfriend says to me. Thought I was a freak because all BC i have tried does this to me. It makes me feel better to know I'm not alone, and I'm not crazy. I recommend talking with your Dr. before removing the ring. I'm calling tomorrow!!

I have been on this for a few years now and I am thinking about switching to something else or going off completely. I'm 34 and I have been the pill for 15 years. At first, Loestrin 24 was great - 3 day light period. But overtime, my period went to 4, to 5, to 6 days. Now it's 7 days of heavy bleeding as if I'm not taking anything at akk. I've gained weight, like 20 lbs, that I can't seem to lose. My fiance and I dance so I'm usually in shape. But over the last year, even dancing as much as we do isn't keeping the weight off. I'm emotional all of the time. I have a heart murmur, which my OBGYN admits is probably caused by the pill. One thing I can say is my acne is under control, which basically is the only reason (besides shorter periods) I am on it since my fiance has had a vasectomy. It's hard to know what to do when the doctor's really don't know either. It's all trial and error since every patients hormones are different. But, this 7 days of heavy bleeding is for the birds. I might as well not be on anything! We Are All Just Ginniepigs.

I just called my OBGYN for my Mirena insertion date... January 2006. At my regular annual visit in December 2005, I weighed 167lbs... December 2006 - 173lbs... December 2007 - 175lbs... This December I will be in the 185lb range! I do not come from a 'fat' family and have never experienced such weight gain except when I had 2 courses of the Depo-Provera BC shots - then I gained almost 30lbs in 6 months. I am going to request the removal of the Mirena this December. I exercise and am not an over-eater. After reading this website, I can't wait to get rid of it! I don't have periods per se, but do experience PMS as if I did. I really haven't seen any increase in hair loss, but at 47-1/2 can't figure out all the acne. My sex drive (normally considered as exceptional) comes and goes like the tide. I have been experiencing a lot of headaches, but figured they were stress-related... maybe not. I had mine removed last month and still enjoying the NEW ME! I am so happy and cheerful now without the back pain and achy joints and anxiety attacks. Still getting rid of acne, chin hair and 40 lbs but WOW I am so grateful I found this site to validate that I wasn't losing my mind. There seems to be 1% of the population who have no problems at all with this IUD but for the other 99% of us ... BE CAREFUL and REMOVE IT ASAP! By the way, I still have not had a cycle since the 2 days of spotting after it was removed ... and the removal pain is ZERO compared to the insertion. I am also changing to a female holistic obgyn since my male doc refused to acknowledge my valid side effects - ARGH!!!

Oh yes not to mention that the faint leg pain has become chronic. I've even had to do an EMG and still no results on what's wrong with my leg. I'm very scared because my body is acting in ways I can't even understand. It seems the only way to get my period started again is with these pills. My OBGYN thinks it's just from stress but i don't know...
