I'm so glad I found this site. I have an IUD, but I have been talking Femcon FE for about 6 months because I had cysts on my ovaries which were making my life miserable. I have had countless yeast infections; I went to my general practitioner and she gave me antibiotics. They cleared up for about 2 weeks and then returned. When I don't have a yeast infection I still have discharge. I also have gained weight. It's only been about 5 lbs., but it's been all in my stomach. I exercise for 45 minutes every day and eat healthy, but I look like I'm in the early stages of pregnancy. I just finished my pack, and I'm never taking this again.

I received my first gardasil shot this year and was in bed for 2 days with severe cramps. When I went back for my 2nd round of shots I mentioned the severe cramping and my family doctor said the 2 weren't related. At that same appointment she reviewed a complete workup that I had done since she was a new doctor and I was completely healthy except my cholesterol being a little high which I knew was due to eating a lot of fast food at the time b/c of a new work atmosphere. I have now had all 3 shots and recently just went in for my obgyn annual and now I have a yeast infection that a week worth of antibiotics haven't gotten rid of and have to go back for a procedure because I have abnormal cells. I have never had any problems like this and haven't been sexually active in over a year. I am very very worried especially after reading others problems

I was hospitalized on Christmas with a severe infection of my colon, so when I got discharged 5 days later the doctor prescribed Avelox 400 mg. for the last 7 days it has been hell. I cannot catch my breath even if I'm just sitting there, my chest is very tight, and it feels like my heart just wants to give up from trying so hard to breathe. I keep asking myself should I call an ambulance because it gets so bad with the anxiety that I cannot catch my breath. I'm 34 and in good health. but tonight after taking Avelox for 7 days I finally decided to research the side effects just to see if this was causing all my problems. This drug should be outlawed or the doctors prescribing it should sit down for 5 minutes and tell the patient all the possible side effects. where is the compassion in these doctors these days.

I have experienced nausea with this medicine and I don't know if its normal but my teeth are aching extremely bad, they feel really sensitive. I know antibiotics are bad for your teeth, but I don't know if that's the cause. I have also experienced headaches and slight itching, but no rash thank God!

I had the Mirena put in in March or April (can't remember which one) of 2007. It was absolutely the worst pain I had felt in my life when it went in, but by the end of the day I was fine. (I had to walk home from the Planned Parenthood and could barely do it, the pain was so bad at the time.) I didn't notice any side effects, or at least nothing that I immediately linked to the Mirena. I read the list of side effects, but nothing was listed as "severe" and I had no idea that these side effects were so common and so intense.

By summer I was a wreck emotionally. I thought it was due to the stress of my senior year of college. I visited my boyfriend over winter break and snapped at him for every little thing he did or said. I actually threw rocks at him, punched him, etc., and yelled at him ALL THE TIME. I was also crying almost every day by that point. The acne was beginning but it wasn't too bad yet, just a few large cysts on my face, mostly on my chin, but I didn't think that it was connected to the IUD.

By the end of the summer that relationship was over due to my extreme moodiness (this was a long-term relationship and I had never been moody like that before), depression, lightning-quick temper, etc. The acne was still on my face and slowly but surely getting worse. I was still moody and cried all the time.

Fast-forward a year, and by fall 2008 the acne was taking over my face. I was embarrassed to go out. I spent three hundred dollars on makeup to try to cover it up. I think I still have scars on my chin, but it's hard to tell through the cysts that remain. Like many women who have posted here and elsewhere online, my acne was disgusting: giant, red, painful cysts that never came to a head and took weeks to go away. They didn't respond to any acne medication. I saw a dermatologist and she told me it was probably my toothpaste (my toothpaste causes acne on my forehead??) and told me to take antibiotics. Of course that didn't work. I was also a complete train wreck emotionally. I was in a new relationship but continued the same behaviors as in the previous relationship post-Mirena: short temper, yelling, overreacting to minor things, sometimes physical violence because I just got SO ANGRY with little or no provocation. There were a few months when I literally cried every day, sometimes multiple times a day. I thought it was due to the stressful things that were going on in my life and didn't even imagine it could be related to the Mirena.

A few days ago, on December 30, 2008, I was so fed up with the acne that I was googling, and I knew that sometimes acne can have hormonal causes. So I googled "Mirena acne" and came across this message board and many others, all of them basically saying the same thing. I showed my current boyfriend (who on several occasions almost broke up with me because of my moody, irrational behavior that I now know was caused by the Mirena!) what all of you and the women on the other boards had written, and I called to see how quickly I could get the thing taken out. On the phone with the insurance company, I started crying when she said I would probably have to wait three weeks to have it removed. I wept for a long time and then the next day I went straight into the urgent care center, where I again ended up crying. After much begging and looking completely pathetic, they finally agreed to take it out, and since then, I have felt five thousand million percent better. I haven't cried or felt like crying since I had it removed, and I haven't been moody or irritable or angry or quick-tempered. My boyfriend has said and done things that I know would have made me cry or want to punch him in the face, and I haven't reacted in either of those ways since the Mirena has been out of my body. I actually thought it would take a while for the hormones to get out of my body, but I feel SO MUCH BETTER already.

It took a long time for these symptoms to show up for me, and a long time for me to realize what was causing them. For anyone who is considering the Mirena, I would strongly encourage you to try the Paragard or one of the other non-hormonal methods. I actually had used the Nuvaring for a while too, and that one wasn't as bad as this. The Mirena has been HELL. The only positive side effect I had from it was that my periods got really light, to the point that I didn't have to use tampons or really much of anything beyond pantiliners. I'm scared to try the Paragard because it's supposed to make your periods much heavier, and also because the Mirena was such a hellish contraption. Other effects I've had that may or may not be due to the Mirena are: constipation, though this may have been due to the stress of living overseas; fatigue; dizziness, like I'm going to pass out and/or fall over if I stand up too quickly; inability to lose weight unless I am literally starving.

OH MY GOD!!!! I thought I might be imagining things. I was prescribed Levaquin and clyndamycin on December 15 2008 for a urinary tract infection that appeared to have gone systemic. After 2 days my right knee swelled up. I went back to the Dr the next day and he looked up both antibiotics in his little book and said the clyndamycin could cause joint swelling and pain. He told me to stop taking the clyndamycin and take 600 mg of ibuprofen for the joint paig. His little book said nothing about levaquin. Well I kept taking the levaquin and the pain spread literally to every joint in my body. I could not walk and had trouble even holding a coffee cup. The pain was unreal. I completed the 10 day course of the levequin as instructed. The joint pain was getting worse. I called the Dr. again and they did blood work to rule out arthritis and stuff like that. He put me on prednisone which has significantly helped with the pain. He said it may be a coincidence that I have developed arthritis and that it had nothing to do with the UTI. Well as I was watching TV last night I saw a lawyers commercial for a law suit against levaquin and cipro. Then today got on the internet and found this site. I am going to call the Dr. and tell him to update his little book he looked up the levaquin in. My fear is how long after you stop taking this poison does the joint pain end? I wish I would have known all of this sooner. I will never take this drug again.

After starting NuvaRing a year ago, my 1st 2 periods were much heavier than usual. Now I go through 2-3 tampons throughout my whole cycle. I've had acne for >10 years, and it wasn't as effective in helping my skin.

Other than that, it's been the greatest thing since the invention of birth control. I take several medications which compete for liver enzymes, such as an anticonvulsant, and am often on antibiotics (related to the acne). Plus, I don't have to worry about an oral contraceptive being less effective. And the sex is great!

Today is Christmas day 2008. And a Merry Christmas to me ha!!!!!!!! I was given a prescription for the drug Levaquin on the 19th of December for a suspicion of pneumonia. The x rays done at the hospital found no evidence of pneumonia but my doctor wanted me to take it anyway because since I have asthma and my lungs sounded so bad I was told that I was at risk for developing any secondary infection that was out there. My husband filled the prescription on the 20th which was Saturday, took the first one of a seven day supply 500 mg tablets. About 4 hours after taking just one pill was awakened by severe and agonizing pain in both of my feet and my knees that I was writhing in pain. Since I have nerve damage in my feet anyhow I know what the pain that I normally experience feels like and instantly knew that this was not normal for me. When I thought that I finally might be able to walk I hobbled into the kitchen and dug the list of side affects out of the garbage (stupid me had not read them first.) I discovered that it was one of the side affects. Called the on call doctor in the morning since it was on the weekend and he stopped it immediately and put me on something else. I only took that one pill and since Saturday night every night I wake up in agonizing knee pain and I have never had pains in my knees before. The pain is so bad that I feel like I am ready to go on a morphine drip, or cut my legs off above the knees. Six days now from one pill, how much longer can this go on? I really feel bad for the people that contined to trust their doctors and continued with the full course of the medication and I realize that what I am experiencing is minor compared to what others are going through. This drug should come with a handout that says: Take this drug at a risk to your health!!!!!! Last night the pain lasted all night and I cried all night. Have to get through this day am entertaining for the holiday and have had no sleep. Actually getting afraid to go to sleep at this point.............D.

Hello Everyone,

Reading your stories has brought tears to my eyes. I have received my first shot two months ago, on October 20th. Since October 24, I have had nothing but struggle. I am 25 years old and have been in good health my entire life. The only thing I have ever had a struggle with was UTIs, approximately 2 times a year. However, they were gone with the first dose of antibiotics, within 24 hours. Couple of years ago, my gynecologist had completely cured me from that annoying disease through a course of medication that I took for two months. That was not a very easy process but I was free at last. I did not have a care in the world. However, my nightmare came back after the first Gardasil shoot. Exactly three days later, I woke up with severe pains in my lower abdomen, as well as all the other common symptoms of a UTI. Honestly, being as careful as I always have been with UTIs, I did not put Gardasil and this infection together. I went to my doctor. She tested me for a UTI, said I had a small presence of bacteria in my urine, and released me with a prescription for Macrobid. After a week of taking the meds, things were not looking up. It has been two months, and things have not gotten better. About two weeks ago I started searching for other causes of this pain that is resisting going away. I have been on three courses of antibiotics and going back to my doc tomorrow, after coming across this discussion. I have never experienced pain like this before, having considered myself a veteran of UTIs. I thank you for sharing your stories and advise everyone to think twice about having these shots or taking your children. I am not going back for another dose of this nightmare! I don't even know when I will feel normal again. Everyday starts with a thought: "Will I feel pain when I go to the bathroom today?" I am now completely sure that Gardasil had everything to do with my recent condition.

i got my first shot three days ago pretty much without my permission. my ignorant doctor wouldn't listen that i most likely won't be able to get the second shot in the allotted amount of time (2 months) but she insisted that i get the first one anyway. well, three days later and there is blood in my urine. i have every symptom of a urinary tract infection other than the fever, but who knows? that could be next. now my mom is pissed off at me for making her call the doctor when i was just there a few days ago but there is absolutely no reason i should be having blood in my urine or a possible urinary tract infection. i have done nothing out of my ordinary lifestyle everyday since the shot and i have read countless other problems with the Gardasil vaccine lately. i refuse to get the next shot and i will hopefully be going to the doctor today to get some antibiotics.....and if that doesn't clear it up, i'm not sure what to do...... :(

I have taken cipro before with no obvious problems and am now starting on it again for 2 weeks (1pill a day). This drug is one of a few that people who are allergic to penicillin and sulfa drugs can take to kill bacteria that penicillin normally does. This is considered a 'last resort' drug for us also. I've had a sinus infection as a complication from a dental surgery that refuses to go away for long enough for my mouth to heal - since July 10 (it is now 19Dec). I was prescribed Avelox for the first time yesterday which led me to this website while trying to find pricing info. $168 for 12 pills? at a Walmart? absurd. So I had the doc switched to cipro. They want me to try this 'type' of drug since the others haven't been able to completely eliminate the infection. I will keep in mind everyone here's side effects but I definitely have plans to do a heavy duty DETOX the minute my mouth is healed and I am off the drugs whether I have problems or not. I concur with the constipation though, all antibiotics seem to give me that problem while taking them. Another good reason to do a detox.

i got a bad sinus infection for the past month after starting lisinopril, on many meds for this, i switched from avapro to lisinopril as i wanted to join the walgreens plan for cheaper drugs, the doc put me on lisinopril instead after i sent him the walgreens list of available drugs that they use, the avapro was not on the list,, ive been to my ent and allergy doc for this sinuse thing that is well over a month now and getting better, but i have spent more $ for drugs to combat this infection that r not on the walgreens list over $300 spent out of pocket but with a discount for switching to the lisinopril from the avapro that ive been on for about a yr,, it was not worth it,, BUT my cardio doctor thinks it ws just a coincidence that i got the sinus infection about the same week that i started lisinopril, he asked me to tell my ent and allergy doc about this, the ent thinks i shld go back to the avapro if ii feel that it may have started the infection with the little cough, i have not talked to my allergy doc about it yet, has anyone felt they got these symptoms with lisinopril????? i am still taking it all thru this sinus thing, MRI and 2 inhalers and antibiotics, narcotic cough med, sinus wash and musilex r doing ok and on the mend, i have no other symptoms and on the 5 mg , what do u all think? and anyone else have a sinus thing going on when starting the lisinopril??? Hi all, I have used the Mirena now for 6 years! I have never had any problems with the insertion or taking it out as I've just had it changed after my first five years. It was recommended to me by my doctor as a form of birth control and because I used to get bad PMT, for this it has worked a treat. My periods have stopped completely and I haven't bled for the at least the last 3 years, but it's not something that happens over night. However like everything it has it's down sides and now at 31 years old I am suffering with really bad acne and have done for at least the last 2 years, it is really i tchy and painful and really gets me down, I have been prescribed two different courses of antibiotics which haven't worked. I have over this time also gained weight. So after this length of time I am toying with the idea of having it removed, but for me i need to make the decision whether I want my periods back again and no acne or no periods and terrible skin, it's a difficult one, oh to be a woman!!

I am 25 years old and got my first shot in Aug 08. I became drowsy 15mins later and passed out. My arm was so sore that I could barely lift it or touch it. I felt a tingly sensation on my hand but it went away a couple of days later. I got my 2nd shot in Oct 08. I had the same side effects like the first shot, as well as severe headaches, tiredness, nausea. But this time, I started having pimples on my face. It is now December only took 2 months and now i have severe nodular acne. I went to the dermatologist and they said it just happens. I'm on antibiotics to clear my skin and it still doesn't work. Its extremely severe, and now the dermatologist is going to prescribe me acutane for my skin. I've never had this issue with acne before. The pimples came about a week or so after the 2nd shot. And it keeps getting worst. So bad, that actually hurts.

Hi, just wanted to give all an update....day 8 off the Doxy, by the end of the 6th day off the doxy, I began to get a clear head again....I would feel great, then all of a sudden a fog would come over me for about 5 minutes with ear ringing, and go away....this happened about 3-5 times...my left arm and left side of my face felt hot, but i did not have a fever....thats when I knew the doxy was leaving my system...day 7 i felt fine, but went into a slump...laid in bed for about 12 hours, I think this was due to still having no appetite and barely eating for 3 weeks, I lost a bunch of weight . I felt mentally clear finally, the bout of depression that the doxy put me in was lifting, but still felt physically weak. Today, I woke up feeling fine, ate a croissant for breakfast, forced 4 sliders down for lunch, and finally was able to eat some dinner. The good part is that another user on this board was kind enough to mail me letting me know that she went through the exact same side effects, and assured me that they would subside with time, especially the loss of appetite and depression/anxiety...takes about 2-3 weeks off the meds for everything to start getting back to normal....She also told me that the doxy has a very long half life...so it does stay in the system awhile....but im starting to feel slight improvements as the days go by...the bad news...i don't think the doxy cured everything. Im considering taking ionic silver instead of any more antibiotics....one other caution...beware of Levaquin...I was on this at first for 5 days along with the doxy, and that drug truly is (in my opinion) dangerous. I read some of the side effects people were having, including myself and was horrified....I thought something was weird when my middle finger on my left hand went numb for a day, left hand was warm, right hand was ICE COLD, sudden and sharp pains in the back, like I pulled a muscle, that left me unable to move for a few days, and severe diarrhea. Anyways, please feel free to mail me if you have any questions....support is the most important thing a person can have because of the fear and anxiety these drugs put you through.

I was prescribed sulfamethoxazole-TMP as a second round of antibiotics to kill off a persistent sinus infection. For the first couple of days I felt fine, but then by the 3rd day out of 10 I had a persistent headache in the evenings. This lasted two days and then went away. Then on the 8th day I woke up with a rash all over my body of small red bumps, which looked like tiny mosquito bites. They don't itch, but I can definitely feel them rubbing up against my clothing. I had some red wine last night, so the extra sulfur in my body might have pushed me over the edge... Also, I feel light-headed and tired. I called the advice nurse and she said just to drink a lot of fluids to flush it out of my body and to take another round of the antibiotic to see if it gets worse! No way, lady! I think I'll stay away from it, thank you very much. My sinus infection is gone enough. I have never had a reaction to any medications before, so this really surprised me.

I love Avelox! I had a chronic sinus infection along with bronchitis and what was the beginning of walking pneumonia. I could not breathe out of my nose and my chest rattled, and I was coughing up yellow mucus that had a foul taste. My doctor gave me samples of 3 Avelox to start with, and a prescription for Doxycycline to take for 7 days after. I just finished my 3rd pill of the Avelox, and it is amazing how much better I feel! I will of course finish out the prescription of antibiotics that he gave me as well, but maybe he only gave me 3 Avelox because they aren't good to take for a full cycle, I don't know. All I know is that I have had none of the problems as described here and I can breathe again.

Ladies! Bayer is deceiving us!!!!!!! This side effect is not mentioned enywhere. Please, do not get Mirena. I suffered so much that I had to quit working for a month. I couldn't work, rest, live. I was only sleeping praying that pain would go away. It messed up my hormones to such an extent that I had terrible pain peeing. Went trough courses of 3 antibiotics, drank litres of cranberry juice, painkillers, herbal teas and so on. Nothing helped.
After my gynecologist told me it has nothing to do with Mirena, I visited 2 GP's, 2 urologists, another gynecologist. Some suggested even that I'm making it up. One gynecologist asked me even whether I was sexually abused as a child. I thought I'm crazy but pain was too strong to give up. I did a lot of medical examinations on my own-paying for it a lot and I'm just a poor student! I took also vaginal globules and a lot of other medicines. The pain lasted for 5 months. From the very beginnig after insertion and finished one month after removal, but only with help of estrogens. I was deceived, and my gynecologist didn't want to take it out!
I was so faint I couldn't eat. I lost a lot of weight from stress. I was white as sheet and scared to death as I though that I have some unknown bladder disease. Obviously, I couldn't have sex. During 4 months of having Mirena I had sex just 5 times, even though I'm engaged, living in a stable relationship. The symptoms still haven't gone away totally and I'm afraid what tomorrow brings. I'm afraid of nerve damage and I think a lot about that. It's been the darkest period in my life and I'm bitter about it because nobody will pay my money back for all the physical and mental suffering, financial loses (I had to quit job) and lost time when I was just lying in bed crying and praying for health. I'm not a crazy woman. I am not making this stuff up. Please, do not get Mirena.
I thought that I will have it for 5 years, I will have enjoyable sex, and as I was tolf no side effect because the hormone is realeased only locally. Thta's a lie. Also my hair and skin were so greasy that nothing helped.
No sex, pain, lost money- Mirena is not worth it. I was told it's insert-and forget-about-it method plus it was also supposed to cure my ovarian cysts. Guess what? It did not cure my cysts but made them even worse!
I am not from US neither from UK. In my country doctors don't know anything about it. One told me 'it's just a copper wire how can it affect your bladder.' 'Did you live with alcoholic when you were a child' (meaning are you crazy?)

This is painful for me to type due to the pain in my hands & fingers. I had ankle surgery to fix a torn ligament and an ankle scope on Oct. 30, 2008. I was put on 500 mg of Levaquin to prevent infection. On Nov 4th, my entire body felt like it was beat up. I could barely get up off of the couch. I also developed severe pain and burning in my foot. I couldn’t support my weight on crutches due to pain in my arms & wrists. I took this dose for 10 days. On Nov 24th, I couldn’t take the pain anymore. I ended up being hospitalized for 10 days. I had severe swelling in my ankle and bruising up to & including my toes. The doc thought it was an infection so I was started on 2 types of IV antibiotics. Didn’t get any better. On Nov 26th, the doc tried to aspirate it and only dried blood came out. It was sent for a culture and came back negative. He asked me how my pain was and I told him the back of my ankle hurt really bad. He said “the MRI that was done on Nov 25th showed I developed tendinitis in the Achilles tendon. I asked him how that happened since I haven’t walked on that foot since my injury date of August 23rd. He said he wasn’t sure. I had 2 previous MRIs (Sept & Oct) which did not show tendinitis at all! On Dec. 1st I went back to the operating room so the doctor could cut open the golf ball size hematoma on the outside of my ankle. He got a lot of jelly-like blood from the back part of my ankle. He left the drain in overnight and then removed it. I was released on Dec 3rd with a script for 750 mg of Levaquin for 7 days (which I finished yesterday). The swelling is down about 25% and I have been out of the hospital for 8 days now. The pain in my body was so horrible today that I went to my family doctor. She did a thorough exam of my joints-which was complete agony!!!! She explained that she was going to run some tests to see what is wrong. She explained to me that she thinks this is a reaction to the Levaquin & she has had patients who have had ruptured tendons from this medication. She sent me for bloodwork and gave me a script for morphine (Avinza) to control the pain, which 750 mg of ES Vicodin and 800 mg of Ibuprofen didn’t make it any better. I feel helpless as my 9 year old has to do everything for me because I simply cannot get up. I hope my doctor figures this out real soon! This is unreal to have to suffer like this. I will keep everyone on this page in my prayers! Good Luck to everyone!

I started taking Lamictal about a year ago. When I began treatment, I immediately experienced really bad, vivid dreams. They got progressively worse and continue to this day. About 3 months after I began treatment, I began to experience severe hair loss. Several tiny clumps of hair (a hand-full of individual strands) would come out of my hair during washing, and when I combed it after showering. This has occurred every day, and continues. I've lost about 2/3 of my hair and spend more than 5 minutes each day teasing my hair in the bald spots so people can't tell, but the parts in my hair get wider every day. I can't swim in public, go dancing, or go anywhere that might lead to my hair getting sweaty and falling out of shape.

In addition, at the end of every day, I feel like I'm catching the flu. I have a fever of 100, feel achy and have the sniffles. It got so bad that I actually went to the doctor and he prescribed antibiotics for what he said was sinusitis, which is a side affect of Lamictal. I felt better for a few days, then went right back to feeling ill.

I've also experienced periods of intense anxiety and anger. Out of the blue, for absolutely no reason. Constipation is also a problem.

This is not what I signed up for. I'm talking to my doctor next week to get off this crap. There is no good alternative in this category of medication, either. They're all poison with multiple severe and sometimes life-threatening side effects. Screw that. I'd rather be slightly depressed.

I was prescribed doxycycline by the doctor for a misdiagnosed std, i took the 7 day regiment along with another antibiotic, while taking both antibiotics, i experienced major stomach gas and a complete loss of appetite....after the 7 days was up, i still did not feel quite right, so saw my doctor about 5 days later....he re-prescribed ONLY doxycycline....this time WITHOUT taking the other antibiotic, my gas was much less severe...however i have to FORCE myself to eat due to a complete loss of appetite...i want so bad to have an appetite back the thought of taking even one more of those pills repulses me....though the medication works quite well.....I also find that while taking doxycycline my eyes would burn from time to time....one pill left....and im gonna skip it.

I took Levaquin 750 for 10 days for a sinus infection. I took first 5 doses, went to see my doctor again 6 days later because I was still sick. She prescribed again 5 does of Levanquin 750. I am still coughing and I feel very tired. It did not help at all. I am still sick and I have muscle pains in my two calves and stress Achille tendon. I am a runner and I have sometimes problems with my calf: I have been not running too much recently and I was wondering how come suddenly I had those muscle pains in both my calves. I am not sure if it is related to Levaquin, but when I read all those comments, I am worried. Why I have been prescribed this antibiotics if it is obviously dangerous?

I never have the side effects that other people have. I am allergic to a lot of antibiotics but can take this one. It always clears up my infections with no problems. I always drink the extra fluid they recommend while taking it. I am not sure if this is what helps. Also, there is a warning that people over 60 are more likely to have side effects. So if you are over 60 maybe this is not the med for you. I am grateful that this medication exists.

I was put in the hospital November 8th, they were giving me Levaquin through IV's and then after they seriously hurt the back of my hand, I demanded to take meds by mouth-I had already had around 5 days of this through the IV-I was diagnosed at the emergency room with a ruptured appendix, and it had been that way for 3 weeks-it took 1 doctor and 2 hospitals to diagnose that!! really makes we wonder about the medical profession these days! so when I was released from the hospital after a 6 day stay and appendix still in me, they gave me a prescription for Levaquin for another 10 days-well, I took it for 8 days and had to stop all together-I have been so weak and from my knees down kill me! I have bad joint pain in my knees and hips, but I thought maybe this could be from sitting in a hospital bed for all those days-now that I've read all these complaints, I'm wondering if I should have taken this stuff at all! I hadn't taken any kind of antibiotics for over 3 years-have been ok up til now. I am so scared of the pain and tingling in my feet, thought maybe it could be blood clots in my legs from not moving around as much as I'm used to-my grandmother recently passed from a blood clot and my cousin also at the age of 33 died from a clot after knee surgery! so what do I do?? is it a clot or is it the dreadful drug "Levaquin" that is causing me all this pain?? any suggestions out there?? and I have no insurance either! what a terrible experience!
